Why do we need fillings?

20 Jan
Some of the bacteria in oral cavity can cause destruction of teeth by producing acids from food sugars, which must be stopped by removing and replacing the missing part with filling materials such as composite.

If the cavity gets deeper, it will cause sensitivity to certain triggers such as sweets, and also disturbance in eating.

It is very important to remove the bacteria and contaminated structure, so we stop futher caries development which later can cause the loss of the tooth.
